Abstract

Across the world, women play a vital role in the upbringing and emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of their children, spouses, and society at large. Therefore, the importance of women’s roles within the family and society is undeniable, and greater focus must be placed on women’s mental health. In fact, the peace and stability that women can bring to families and society is both significant and impactful. However, today—due to changes in lifestyle, rising economic pressures on families, and the spread of harmful cultural beliefs—certain social harms increasingly affect women, leading to personal, familial, and societal challenges. As such, identifying these social harms affecting women and proposing effective solutions is both necessary and urgent.
