The first Iran–Iraq Think Tank Dialogue hosted by KHANA House, bringing together directors and representatives of think tanks and research institutions from both countries.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore prospects for joint research and the co-publication of research outputs by Iranian and Iraqi think tanks. Participants emphasized the importance of identifying shared and priority research areas and exchanged views on potential fields for future cooperation.

The dialogue also served as a platform for the two sides to become more familiar with each other’s institutional capacities and areas of expertise. Participating think tanks introduced their organizational structures, specialized fields, ongoing projects, and research priorities, laying the groundwork for closer intellectual and research engagement between the two countries.
