Examining the characteristics and goals of the education system in Iran, and the reasons behind the failure to achieve these goals
Abstract
Education of future generations is one of the most important concerns of both governments and people in all countries around the world. In the Islamic Republic, due to its Islamic nature, this concern is even more pronounced, and the will of the government is to intervene in this area and lead the education of future generations. Among the institutions influencing education, the school, due to its strengths such as broad access, specialized and trained staff, and direct access to students’ parents, should be the main focus for implementing government policies in the matter of children’s education. However, this important institution in Iran faces many challenges that need to be prioritized for resolution.
