An examination of the position of Iran’s national brand, the challenges facing Iran’s nation branding, and proposed solutions in this field
Abstract
Iran’s nation branding faces complex challenges across various domains, requiring the creation of a unified discourse and coordinated strategies. Unlike national identity, which develops naturally, a nation brand identity demands strategic design and meticulous management to project a coherent and trustworthy image of Iran both domestically and internationally.
This process requires alignment with the principles of the Constitution, harmonization of national policies and slogans, strengthening Iran’s position in global indices, and leveraging economic and cultural capacities such as halal tourism. Furthermore, attention to transparency in governance, improving diplomatic relations and international engagement, as well as reinforcing internal infrastructure to support national brands, can contribute effectively to this endeavor.
