Identifying the Steel Value Chain, Bottlenecks and Short-term Needs, Mid-term Development Priorities, and Long-term Strategic Areas
Abstract
The development of the information and communication era has increased speed and reduced costs in accessing target markets for global industries, thereby enhancing their competitive power. As a result, all industries must acquire a competitive advantage to survive and maintain their position in the global market. A core strategy for achieving and enhancing this advantage is the development of the value chain. The value chain includes all functional dimensions of an organization or industry that interact to generate value. As one of the country’s key industries, the steel industry also requires value chain development.
