An analysis of some of the most important issues related to oil in the Middle East and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf region
Abstract
Nowadays, the countries of the Persian Gulf region hold great significance due to their vast oil resources. These enormous resources have brought substantial benefits to these countries; however, due to possessing these resources, they have faced various issues such as being scrutinized by major and economic powers, oil conflicts among oil-producing countries, and the historical colonization of oil-rich nations by powerful countries. The history of past global wars indicates that, in the recent century, most wars have been driven by strategic and material interests, with oil at the forefront of these concerns.
