Cognitive Challenges of Supporting the Axis of Resistance, the Structure of Doubts in the Field of Support for the Axis of Resistance, and Responses to Them
Abstract
Currently, the issue of supporting the Axis of Resistance in the West Asia region has always been a point of contention in public opinion due to its numerous regional sensitivities and internal challenges, particularly in the economic sectors. The main axis of confrontation in this debate revolves around two opposing groups: the critics and the adversaries. The critics view support for the Axis of Resistance as an abstract, idealistic, and ideological matter that conflicts with national interests and security. The adversaries, on the other hand, are those who defend the Axis of Resistance, considering it both a value-based (duty-driven), realistic action and a means to preserve Iran’s existence and Iranian identity. Given the sensitivity of this issue, examining the perspectives of both groups and the challenges raised in this field is both necessary and strategic.
